Mirima Kibale Lodge is built for unhurried days on the crater-lake ridge—fresh air off Lake Nyamirima, quiet corners, and evenings that come with a fire and a softer pace. Care at Mirima is practical and quiet: a butler on call when you need something, housekeeping that keeps your room calm and ready, and simple touches like filtered water served in glass bottles (no single-use plastics). And because travel has an impact even when it’s done carefully, each night includes a $10 per person contribution to the Gorilla Junction Foundation Fund. Solar power runs the lodge with a backup generator, and the property is fully fenced with 24-hour security—so you can switch off properly.
From that base, choosing your space is easy. Luxury Suites suit couples, friends, or solo travellers who want privacy and views; Family Villas give families and small groups more room to share time together. Rates are shown below in low and high season (all-inclusive), and you can check live availability right away. If chimp tracking is part of your plan, Kibale National Park’s Kanyanchu Visitor Centre is about 20 minutes away—easy starts, and an easy return to the lake air.
Choose your cosy room
Begin with the room that matches your rhythm—a Luxury Suite for private lake-facing calm, or a Family Villa when you want more space and time together—then glance at the rates beneath each one for the right season and occupancy. Luxury Suite pricing is per person, per night when two adults share; Single adult is for sole occupancy. Family Villas are priced per villa, per night for 3 or 4 guests, with an extra-person fee where applicable. Child rates apply for ages 6–14.
Luxury Suites
Tucked within lush, forested gardens, the Luxury Suites are made for slowing down. Large windows hold the crater-lake light, and your private balcony opens to Lake Nyamirima. Inside you’ll find a cozy oversized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a fireplace for cool, misty evenings. At night, the room stays warm while the lake air turns soft outside—quiet enough to hear the first insects start their chorus. Each suite is set up for single, double, or twin occupancy, with a maximum of two guests.
Best for: solo travellers, couples, or close friends who want privacy, a balcony, and an easy end-of-day return to warmth.

Family Villas
The Family Villas are built for togetherness without crowding—two joined suites under one roof, so you can share time easily and still close a door when the day winds down. Each suite has a large, relaxing room, a cozy fireplace, and an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower.
Best for: families and small groups who want space to spread out, one terrace for slow mornings, and two private suites when it’s time to sleep. (The full villa can host up to six guests; suites can also be booked individually.)

What's Included
Mirima Kibale Lodge rates are all-inclusive, which means the core of your stay is already taken care of—your room, meals, and the everyday comforts that make the days feel easy to live in. Also, each nightly rate includes a $10 per person, per night contribution to the Gorilla Junction Foundation Fund—a small token that supports conservation and community work around the lodge, built into the rate, not added on at the end.

What's NOT included
A few costs sit outside the all-inclusive lodge rate—mainly permits and transport, plus any extras you choose to add while you’re here. We’ll confirm these clearly in your quote so there are no surprises.

Seasons & child policy
Mirima sits at a cooler, lake-influenced altitude, so days tend to be mild and evenings can feel crisp—especially when mist rolls in. When you’re choosing dates, the season note under each rate is there for one reason: to help you match price to pace.
- High season (January–February, June–September & December) is when rooms are in higher demand, and it pays to book early;
- low season (March–May, October & November) tends to feel less busy, with a little more flexibility if you’re choosing between a few good weeks.
For families, we keep it simple: children 0–5 stay on a complimentary sharing basis (up to two children per room). Ages 6–14 follow the child rate shown in the tables, and from 15+ the adult rate applies.
Booking terms
To confirm your booking, we take a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in (unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing).
If you need to cancel, what you pay depends on how close it is to your arrival date. If you cancel 60 days or more before you arrive, we keep the deposit. If you cancel 59 to 30 days before arrival, you pay 50% of the booking total. If you cancel 29 days or less before arrival, the booking is fully payable.
One last practical note: if we’re holding dates for you and the deposit isn’t received by the due date, we may release the room. If we refund money, bank charges are deducted, and if government taxes or levies change, rates may need to change too.
