A calming walk into the golden evening
The experience begins at the lodge and rises gently into Nkuringo itself. In about fifteen minutes on foot, you pass through the town, follow village paths, and move alongside tea plantations as the hill opens ahead of you. It is a short walk, but it carries the feel of the place with it — homes, gardens, cultivated slopes, and the steady rhythm of life on the ridge. By the time you reach the top, you have not simply arrived at a viewpoint. You have come through the landscape that shapes it.
You can also take the lodge vehicle to the top while the team brings up the sundowner setup.
